Dear Class of Class of 2028 and Transfer Students:
Welcome to Quincy University!
We are so excited that you have chosen QU for your next academic journey and hope you also feel the excitement and anticipation. You will hear these words often over the next couple of months and the first few weeks you are here in August. You are about to experience one of the most exciting times, and we are thrilled you are joining our campus community. The Office of Student Development is working hard to prepare for your arrival in August 2024.
The official check-in/move-in day for all new students is as follows:
- Monday, August 5, 2024-NCAA Football and Women’s Soccer
- Friday, August 16, 2024-Band, Men’s Soccer, Cross Country, Women’s Volleyball, Cheer/Stunt, Dance
- Wednesday, August 21, 2024-All other new students who did not move in on previous dates
A specific check-in time will be emailed to you later this summer.
One of the most memorable experiences for Quincy University students is New Student Orientation, which is filled with many QU traditions. Orientation is mandatory for all students coming to Quincy University. It is designed to help you transition to college life academically, personally, and socially, and this is where you will learn what it means to be a Hawk!
Before you begin your journey on our campus in August, we have set up a mandatory pre-orientation for all our students, Hawk Bound. During Hawk Bound, you can see your academic schedule, speak with faculty, speak to Student Financial Services, connect with various offices, and tour the campus again.
All students who have paid their enrollment fee can sign up for Hawk Bound and sign their housing contract.
